I love all the Eastern European places. I did a semester in Romania and I think that part of Europe does not get enough credit.

  2. Great list!! Bali and Morocco are really high up on my list too! :) Hope you get to cross most these places off your list by the end of this year!

Fantastic list! I’ve started making my own too recently, after realising that after travelling for so long, I STILL don’t have that much time left to really see most places I wanted to! You’ve got down almost the same places that I do. Well, except for Singapore since I live here =)

    • That is very true Judy, I travel so much yet I seems sometimes not to focus too much on my dream destinations, that is wrong! Need to be changed :)

  4. Lake Bled in Slovenia CAN look like that. I had high hopes, really high, but unfortunately I got cyclonic winds and rain. No eerie foggy mist over the Lake. Hope you get better!

Nice list and great pics! It’s cool to see some destinations on your list that are a little different , like Cuba. Morocco looks great right now as the snow is flying sideways here in Colorado. Happy travels!

    • Same here, snow and minuses temperatures and when I was in Morocco last year in January sun was waking me up every morning, good time, oh good times :) Always something for something!

This is a great list for one year, I hope you get to see them all. From those pictures they make me want to get out there and backpack again, but sadly life called and I had to go back. Estonia looks like a cool place to visit.

    • I hope that too, but I seriously doubt, I’m still in Caucasus region, but I was always more about enjoying than about marking things off my list :)

  19. Jon Patrick

My goodness! I am so very glad I found your page!
I’m just a noobie traveller, but my wife and I have caught the ‘bug’! Being from the US, most short-term travel is limited to other States, but we’re slowly expanding our reach!
This list is beautiful and inspiring – just the photos are enough to make me excited to add them to the old bucket list! Look forward to seeing how you love each place!

  20. Wow pretty interesting places you have on your list. Would be awesome to visit all of those.

    • I have a hope for all of them this year, but lets see what the time will permit me for! :)

  22. That’s a very impressive list. Looks like we have a lot of the same dream destinations, though we have others on our radar this year. Bali is a good choice. The photo you chose is of Ulan Danu Temple in Bedugul and it’s a must-see, for sure.

  30. Cindy

Fascinating list! A number of those – Bali, Cuba, Myanmar, Morocco, Portugal (return trip), Estonia, Latvia — are on my list too. Of that list, I’m shooting for Morocco and Myanmar (and Laos and Vietnam) this year.

The area around Gothenburg is lovely, but I think you’d like the archipelago outside Stockholm better, if you haven’t already been there. Then you could also enjoy the city’s striking architecture as well.

I love Portugal – all of it. See as much as you can of the country. For a small place, the landscape and architecture is extremely varied.

    Good luck on that list!

    • Great plan, I was supposed to go there in February but my plans changed a bit and I think I will go closer to the end of the year! Looking forward to hearing your stories when you get back, and pictures as well!

Great list … Can’t wait to hear more about your adventures once you have been to all these places … and your list makes me want to cross Lichtenstein out of my list too … maybe we will meet there :) but don’t ask me what my detailed list is though … you know I just show up to the airport as a standby passenger and pick a plane with a business seat available so who knows where I am going next … The only thing for sure is PATAGONIA .. I have been reading a book about it, aside from Googling pictures, and I am in love ! Have you been?

    • Oh, that is a great idea to catch up in Lichtenstein! I know you do not have detailed plans, I never had before as well, but I have put this post up so I stay focus….ha ha ha I easy get distracted when it comes to travels and fly away with another ideas and destinations, lets see how it is gonna work for me! I have been in Chile but didn’t have time to go to Patagonia, but that would be my dream! Do you know when you go? Maybe I can join, or you are going with one of your sweethearts?! Ha ha ha?!
