Best Honeymoon Escapes for 2019

After he finally popped the question and you had a wedding of your dreams wearing the most perfect wedding dress from www.pronovias.com where you can buy some of the most beautiful plus size wedding gowns online, the time has come to honeymoon!

I’ve put together a list of what I think are the absolute top honeymoon destinations to hit after all guest left the party! Now all I need to do is to actually decide which one to choose…

Hamoa Beach

Let’s start with sun-drenched beaches, Hawaii is one of the first destinations to pop into my head – and that’s why I’ve included the lovely Hamoa Beach on my list. Located on the island of Maui, this is definitely one of the most scenic beaches around, most romantic place for honeymoon ever!

With its deep-green water, palm trees and tropical plants, Hamoa is certainly easy on the eye – but that’s not the only good thing about it. If you manage to leave your bed the surfing here is outstanding!

Wouldn’t it be perfect to rent a villa here and enjoy your sun break with your sweetheart?

Reethi Beach

The veritable paradise of Maldives is another obvious choice for a perfect honeymoon! Personally, I’m not sure there is anywhere more perfect for a romantic escape than this – an idyllic archipelago with some of the world’s very best luxury resorts and unspoilt beaches galore.

I’d just like to stress that the Maldives really is the ultimate honeymoon destination to come to if you have a luxury in mind – by law, there is just one resort per isle, which means you get loads of seclusion and space just for two of you, and there are countless five-star hotels here.

When it comes to gorgeous beaches, I reckon you should make a beeline for Reethi Beach. Not only is this one of the prettiest in the archipelago, but it’s also got loads for you to do – and I don’t just mean sunbathing and paddling. For instance, you can try all sorts of water sports here, like kitesurfing.

Anse Source d’Argent

Swapping one idyllic island for the archipelago, we’re now moving on to the Seychelles. Nestled in the Indian Ocean, this is an ultimate honeymoon destination for sun-seekers – and there’s certainly no shortage of brilliant beaches to choose from here!

That said, there’s one that I think is particularly great, and that’s Anse Source d’Argent. You’ll find this on the island of La Digue – somewhere well worth visiting in its own right, thanks to its lovely laid back atmosphere.

Staying focused on the beach, though, it is renowned for being one of the most photographed stretches of sand in the entire world. This won’t surprise you when you get here – its gorgeous sands and giant granite boulders make this beach unforgettable.

Extra tip: pack your wedding dress and make him pack his tuxedo, it is an amazing place for wedding pictures!

East coast of Zanzibar

OK, I know we are not all made for just chilling in the sun for two weeks, therefore my next destination has it all. You really can’t go wrong with Zanzibar when it comes to your honeymoon destination.

You should stay on the east coast. The beaches here look every inch the picture-perfect paradise – complete with white sand and palm trees – but there’s also a lot else to see and experience here.

You see, this area is lined with tiny traditional Swahili villages, making it a fantastic place to get a taste of rural African life.

Belle Mare Plage

Lastly, I recommend Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius, another great place for honeymooners that like to be active on their vacations! The beach stretches for some 10 km, which means there’s plenty of scope for finding a quiet spot – but what I love about it is that there’s also loads to do.

For instance, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, while it’s also a great place for water sports. In fact, one of the country’s top dive sites, The Pass, is located just off the coast here.
