Who hasn't experienced this: You want to fly to an exotic vacation destination but cannot avoid a long-haul flight. Even before embarking on the long journey, the thought of a seemingly endless flight can be daunting. However, it doesn't have to be, as shown by Qatar Airways, which for years has been voted by passengers into the prestigious Skytrax ranking of the best airlines in the world. Here, not only Business Class passengers but also those flying Economy Class have a pleasant flight experience with good service and comfort.

It's time: Boarding completed, ready for takeoff. After being warmly welcomed in a traditional Arabic manner upon boarding and being offered cold towels for refreshment, you can make yourself comfortable in your Economy seat. If you desire a bit more space or are traveling with children, the extra-wide seats in Economy Class are perfect, offering more legroom and maximum comfort. Fresh pillows, cozy fleece blankets, and cold towels are all part of the standard and contribute to a pleasant flying experience.

A truly special experience is a flight on the world's most modern aircraft, the Airbus A350, which the airline exclusively operated as the world's first customer. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, you're offered a top-class flying experience: A spacious passenger cabin with panoramic windows creates a sense of spaciousness, while LED mood lighting reduces the unpleasant effects of jet lag. The A350 is also one of the quietest aircraft and, with a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions, one of the most environmentally friendly in the world.

A long flight with Qatar Airways means that you'll be served at least one, if not two, hot meals and various small snacks. Passengers flying with Qatar Airways can look forward to amazing menus inspired by the latest culinary trends on long-haul flights. How about fresh sushi or a delicious pasta dish? Plus, you can enjoy a tasty beverage of your choice along with a selected wine. Please note that the menus may differ based on the travel route. If you have special dietary requests, such as vegetarian or vegan diets, or suffer from food intolerances, you can customize a special menu in advance.

Once you've settled into your seat, placing the pillow behind your head and wrapping yourself in the blanket, it's time to start the journey. Thanks to the Oryx One entertainment system, you have a huge selection of entertainment options and can choose from over 6,000 options, including movies, music tracks, TV shows, and documentaries. This way, time flies until you reach your destination.

Flying can often be a real highlight, especially for children. Some are buzzing with excitement while others experience pressure in their ears and may feel uncomfortable as soon as the plane takes off.

To make the flight as fun and entertaining as possible for both parties, Qatar Airways' Economy Class fortunately offers a large selection of colorful toys. Board games like Monopoly, a Twister set, and coloring books provide entertainment, and the special children's channel for 'Young Travellers' adds to the excitement.

How much luggage can Economy Class passengers of Qatar Airways take? Generally, travelers are allowed to check in baggage with a total weight of up to 35 kg (max. 300 cm / 118 inches). For transatlantic flights, however, two pieces of luggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg each are permitted. Hand luggage may consist of one piece with a maximum weight of 7 kg and dimensions not exceeding 50 x 37 x 25 cm.

An even more exclusive flight experience awaits you if you opt for a journey in the Business Class of Qatar Airways. A super comfortable seat that converts into a bed, menus crafted by top chefs, and a more refined service that begins in the airport lounges and impresses until the last minute on board are just some of the advantages of this higher booking class. A unique experience is a flight in the Qsuite, which can be transformed into a business center or a cozy seating area for families depending on the purpose.
