Currently, you can see my travel photography
on my Instagram account!
You are more than welcome to FOLLOW ME!
Why did I move to Instagram?
The reasons are numerous and as much as I totally understand how annoying it must be to click a page only to be invited
to click somewhere else, please hear me out on this one!
Instagram Rules Travel Photography
I know this reason seems vain and I guess it is! My blog is visited by a great number of people every month yet my travel
photography page wasn’t getting as many eyes as I thought it deserves. While my Instagram gets couple myriads every
day. It is a simple math: 5k a month or 10k a day. I have decided that IG will be where I display my pictures for you.
Blog Logistics vs Visual Media
On my IG profile, I get to post every day something different. Tell you a little story behind each picture and it takes just
a few mins while here I have to write a 2000 words blog post to show you my travel pearls. You know I’m constantly on
the go and time is precious. Especially, when I think about sleep for 4h before getting an early morning balloon flight in
Cappadocia or writing till wee hours and missing the balloon. I know #FIRSTWORLDPROBLEMS
Yeah, I totally invented a new tongue twister ha ha Being serious I get comments every day on my blog, I really do, yet
I must admit that I did build a much more talkative community around my IG than around my blog. GA don’t lie, people
read but they do not comment. Meanwhile on IG… oh my, I need to use Iconosquare to keep track of them all.
On Instagram, you can see pictures of places of my current whereabouts, mixed up with some old pictures but definitely
more ‘instanow’ than my blog. I’m most certain I shouldn’t be saying that to people who read my posts but I do suck at
keeping my writings up to date. I’m super sorry. I’m working on it! Meanwhile, my IG is a go-to place for getting immerse
in my current affairs.
My Beloved Pear Tree and Other Projects
On Instagram, I get to venture out of strict travel stories. I should do that here too, but not always feel comfortable about it
as I claim it is a travel blog :) On my Instagram, you get to see my Pear Tree Series #peartreeseries and other stuff I love
which not always fit the blog.
