This week, I’m hosting a picture of great piece of street art from Street art Maastricht taken by Mo Draj from Mosaffer. He loves travel and is totally addicted to taking pictures along his way! You can find him on Facebook and Twitter.
As you all know I love street art therefore this picture was immediately my favourite! There is something about street art that is very appealing to me. Maybe that is why there is so many pictures of street art in this series. One of the best ones is Santa Monica graffiti.
I connect street art with freedom of speech and expression. Those are very important values for such a crazy rebellious spirit as mine and that is why street art is so close to my heart. I believe that art should be easily accessible and make our lives more colourful! That is an exact purpose and goal of street art movement.
But now back to Mo’ street art Maastricht’s story.
Picture Story: Street art Maastricht, Netherlands
I was in Maastricht, Holland visiting a friend. Where we were lucky to have a nice weather. So we decided to go for a cycle around the city, and we came across a turn, and asked my friend where does this lead – She said: “I don’t know” – I said: “Sure, might as well get lost, I kinda like that idea.”
We took the turn and came across an old abandon building where it was full of Graffiti art. Someone must have took liberty in just making his/her painting a canvas site. Nevertheless it was truly amazing the way how it was made, so we spent an hour or so snapping pictures and admiring this beautiful graffiti.
