This Friday I have a pleasure to host photograph from South Tyrol taken by Eva Gold from Passports & Pamplemousse Blog.
Eva and I have very much in common. We both love food and we both love to travel as crazy! Eva likes to say: ‘not just any food, and not just any ole’ travel’.
And I couldn’t agree more with that! :) If you love those two things or even just one check out Eva’s Facebook and Twitter for more lovely pictures and stories!
I’m becoming such a snob foodie recently! Lol I have always loved good food, but who doesn’t!? We all do love good food and when it is served with a beautiful glass of red wine I’m the happiest Girl ever! But i’m already on the stage of actually organizing a trip just to visit my favourite restaurants yet again! I love Turin, Paris, Oslo, Zurich and many many others. Believe me Turin is a little gem which I should keep hidden for myself! :)
Anyway, back to the subject! The picture!
Picture story: South Tyrol Mountains
Well, we recently moved to Munich so for my birthday, my fiance (very soon to be husband) took me to South Tyrol for the weekend! a very spontaneous and lovely weekend road trip. We love to discover new areas in Europe and this is not so far from our home in Munich now!
We were just enjoying the windy mountain roads when we quite literally stumbled across this lake. Ok, well the tour buses gave away the fact that something was there, but you can also see the lake from the road.
The colours are absolutely breathtaking and it’s definitely worth a trip! I couldn’t have spent a better birthday weekend either!
